WATASOL is in Stockolm on the “300 in 6” stand where demonstrations are taking place on several treatment options as Watasol, Silver disc, Pureit, Siphon filter. The stand presents also a review of safe water solutions that describes smart business thrusts such as water kiosks, chlorination by micro-entrepreneurs, locally-produced pot filters and industrially manufactured water filters. Equally, with numerous cases, it discusses how to remove constraints to upscaling: viability, scalability, consumer acceptance and ability to reach the poor. A larger study will be published in early-2011.
